Kam Region Spawner System
Kam Region Spawner is a complete, player-centric regional encounter system designed for ServUO. It allows administrators to configure creature encounters independently for towns, dungeons, wilderness areas, houses, custom regions, overworld regions, and regions created through Regions in a Box.
The system is intended to work alongside ServUO’s existing spawning systems and does not automatically replace, disable, modify, or remove standard Spawners, XMLSpawners, Premium Spawners, champion systems, or other custom spawn controllers. This means it should not directly conflict with those systems. However, administrators should review existing spawn coverage carefully before enabling Kam Region Spawner in the same locations.
When several spawning systems are active inside the same region, their populations are added together. A dungeon already managed by XMLSpawner, Premium Spawner, or built-in ServUO Spawners can quickly become overcrowded when regional encounters are enabled on top of them. For best results, reduce or disable overlapping spawners, use conservative encounter settings, and take advantage of the hourly and active regional spawn limits included with this system.
Encounters are player-centric. Players who are far apart within a large region can each receive independent encounter opportunities, while players inside the configured cluster range are treated as one nearby group. This helps prevent several players standing together from triggering duplicate encounters while still allowing activity across large public areas, forests, wilderness regions, and dungeons.
Each region can be configured with:
The administration gump includes searchable and paginated region listings, automatic ServUO region categories, Easy/Medium/Hard presets, current-region access, safe region teleporting, live spawn totals, regional wipe controls, and importing from standard ServUO Spawners.
Default overworld regions are fully supported, allowing encounters to operate in forests, open wilderness, oceans, and other public areas that may not have a conventional named region. Registered custom regions, including those created with Regions in a Box, are detected and can be configured like any other ServUO region.
Important: Carefully balance Kam Region Spawner against existing XMLSpawner, Premium Spawner, built-in Spawner, and custom encounter systems. Improperly overlapping several spawn systems can result in excessive creature populations, increased server load, and overcrowded gameplay areas.
(As with any new system, backup your saves)
Commands:
[KamRegionSpawner
[KRS
- Note: I will not be supporting this beyond the scope of, something is truly broken and I can replicate it. If it's not working correctly on your shard, it will likely come down to another script fighting it somehow or a misconfiguration of the region file.

Each region can be configured with:
- Encounter chance and randomization
- Cooldown and despawn timing
- Minimum and maximum pack sizes
- Party-based spawn scaling
- Configurable player-cluster distance
- Hourly creature limits
- Maximum active spawns per region
- A weighted creature roster containing up to 40 creature types
