Hey all, not sure if there is a tutorial for this on here but when aligning an animation in Fiddler, some characters are over the lines and some aren't. What does it mean to be "aligned" exactly? what are the dos and dont's? was kind of hoping for a break down of how that works if anyone knows the ins and outs.

I mean, it's really just where you want it when you are making your mobile. I have a custom version of uo fiddler where I can set a mobile in a mount position for walk/run first mount actions for easier adjustment; I also added an option to add the mobile in the opposite position. Then it still becomes a preference. Some mobs do not look as good when sitting too close to a mobile when facing it. I've just learned it's all preference to how you like it. The more important thing is making sure all actions are aligned with each other so when changing an action it does not jump around.

I am sure someone else will make some different reasoning, but really it doesn't matter. As long as you like the location and in-game you can see it properly. And having it go in all directions as smoothly as you can make it.

i guess that's kind of what i was looking for. I do want to make some closer to the Avatar as they are more hand to hand combat based and want some maybe further away for different attacks.. I just wanted best practice as i want to do it all in bulk so when i do log in with all the new animations, i can tweak as needed. Thanks for the reply!
