Hi brothers.

I'm new on ServUO but i'm already have knowledge in programming. Now, my problem is, after a long time searching over forum, google and another possible resources, i cannot found a properly way to connect my ServUO server into a MySQL or Postgres database to starting use a properly database to store character data instead using XML file that's not secure way to it.

Anybody know a link that teaches how to implement it?

First off, mysql isn't needed. It stores saves in bin files on the host pc.

Second, I've never seen a walk through for it but you could use this as a point of reference

Curious why xml is not secure enough to hold information on how many gargoyles I killed. Can hackers use that information to access my credit card?

Correct, they can also hack your checking account if they know the serial number of a bill you deposit.
