UO client: 7.0.114.2, UOFiddler: 4.18.1, Servuo: 57.4.1. I tried modifying Cliloc and found that I could neither add entries nor use empty entries.

UOFiddler > Options > Use new cliloc format

Can't remember wording and I'm currently mobile so I can't check... if you don't see any option related to Cliloc in Options, grab the latest copy.

In latest versions there is already autodetect so it will handle any format. Just tested again and works fine on old and new clients. What's the problem exactly?

for some reason when I click add entry in the cliloc, it doesn't actually add the new entry, am I doing something wrong? Do I need to do something before I can add new entries?

You click add entry, put the new number and nothing happens? Describe the steps precisely please. You can also export everything to CSV and import back if you really like to.

There is many ways you can do this and no there is nothing special needed besides having the files on disk and in the path 🙂

Thank for the quick reply, so when I right click, add entry, fill in a number 7000001 it does nothing. when I export as CSV and enter the same number with a text in the next column and modified in the third, import it back in, it still hasn't added the 7000001 entry.

Ahh so you try to add something outside of current maximum number. Ok. Let's see.

Ok so that is not currently possible as it only allows adding new entries below existing max number. No idea why it was done like that but I suspect it has something to do with translating certain tiledata entries and few other conventions around clilocs. I guess I can change that in next version but I don't know yet if this will work for every client.

Indeed, I want to create my own range of numbers if possible, I've editted empty excisting ones now but I would like to have my own range. But if that isn't possible I can manage with the empty entries

It's ok, just to arrange things I'd like my entries all together instead of being spread over the empty ones haha. thank you for your time!

You can try 4.19.3 Releases · polserver/UOFiddler the limit is removed also there are few adjustments to add new entry so it'll start searching from number you have selected or the one you put into the text box. It'd be nice if you could test this a bit and let me know if it all works. I did just bunch of quick tests and it seems to be working.

Amazing, thank you so much, i will be back home on monday i will test then!

That is a bit major rewrite for file handling in uofiddler. Right now most of the files have some sort of convention and are connected once you start moving the indexes you'll need custom client, custom server and in many places custom protocol because max values for many ids is ushort which means 65535.

So for now I don't plan to do this.
