I'll be honest, I like all of them besides the ranger class, mostly because it lacks diversity in Color. If the fire had a distinct fire color, ice looking more blue or colder feel to it ,and lightning had UO distinct purple/energy color. I can understand why ranger class looks the way it does as it signified with nature color scheme though.

If you import them and save as uop then why not? Kinda depends on uo version as there is no packer that is using bwt compression for clients 7.0.104.x and newer.

No idea. It's just replace spell icons, save mul/idx and then convert to uop. Do you need a tutorial for this?

I am not sure how to convert them to uop.

Just enable uopacker plugin in uofiddler and use uopacker tab and then choose correct file type and convert it? Still depends on uo files version as latest are not supported and may fail.
