Couldn't help posting the obligatory hello world introduction to ServUO.

I'm new to the server side of UO, but not UO. I played it back when it launched. It's been fun to get into the game again.

I've been looking for a server that has most things ready to use out of the box, it took me a while to notice pub58-wip branch in Github. It's been great for me so far. I'm curious, how far is that from becoming the main branch? Also, pub58 doesn't correlate to the production UO publish number does it. It seems like the features aren't aligned.

What are you confused about? 57 is the last release and 58 is WIP. ServUO is a continuation of the RunUO project that forked back in 2013! The notable difference between 57 -> 58 is the removal of Era's among other things! Best to start with 57 if new to the emulator!

It was a lame attempt at a joke.

No confusion at this point, I just thought that "pub" might have some relevance to OSI numbering
